Greta's Song
04:48
|
|||
All you got was a reasonable car you just had to drive around.
Straight into the future
You thought it was totally worth it
Even after you knew
All you got was terrible food at a terrible price
Hurting the planet and Our Body
You thought it was totally worth it
Even after you knew
Even after you knew
Even after you knew
Even after you knew
You traded it for our future
A future with more powerful storms
With irregular seasons
Will be the death of us, you fools
All you got was the endless war for the oil and the gas and the movement
And prosperity
You thought it was totally worth it
Even after you knew
Even after you knew
Even after you knew
Even after you knew
You traded it for our future
A future with more powerful storms
With irregular seasons
Will be the death of us, you fools

Gaia's Green Umbrella
02:01
|
|||
One of the cool things about Greta's protest is that it was her own: standing outside the building with her sign.
I have a vision of walking around the legislature with a green umbrella.
Three times. Praying that the people inside will take this seriously, take climate seriously. Do something.
Gaia's green umbrella, rain down on me.
Gaia's green umbrella, rain down on me.
So, last summer I got a green umbrella, walked three times around.
And I imagine if other people decided to do something similarly, from above there would be this swirling circle of green.
Gaia's green umbrella, rain down on me.
Gaia's green umbrella, rain down on me.

Keep close to Gaia
Keep close to Gaia
Keep close to Gaia
Keep close to Gaia
Check it, check it, check it, check it out
Check it, check it, check it, check it out
Keep close to the Sparrow
Keep close to the River
Keep close to the Great Mother
Keep close to the Great Mother
Keep close to Gaia
Keep close to Gaia
Keep close to Gaia
Keep close to Gaia
Keep close to the Sparrow
Keep close to the River
Keep close to the Great Mother
Keep close to the Great Mother
Check it, check it, check it, check it out
Check it, check it, check it, check it out

Roots Go Down
03:21
|
|||
Roots go down.
Roots go down.
Roots go down.
Roots go down.
Roots go down, deep into the earth.
Roots go down, deep into the Living Earth.
Raise our limbs.
Raise our limbs.
Raise our limbs.
Raise our limbs.
Raise our limbs, reach to the sky.
Raise our limbs, reach into the Living Sky.
Reveal myself.
Reveal yourself.
Reveal myself.
Reveal yourself.
Reveal ourselves, share with the world.
Reveal ourselves, share with the Living World.
Roots go down.
Roots go down.
Roots go down.
Roots go down.
